IB DeckShield™ is a dual-ply waterproofing system featuring a skid-resistant, embossed, and printed vinyl surface laminated to a non-woven polyester fleece backing. This construction provides both aesthetic appeal and durable, walkable protection.
The top layer is made from calendared PVC film and meets the physical performance requirements of ASTM D4434, Type II, ensuring proven strength, flexibility, and weather resistance.
installation
DeckShield™ seams are heat-welded using either an automatic hot-air welding machine or a handheld hot-air welder, producing a clean, durable, and watertight bond.

DeckShield™ offers up to a 10-year limited warranty against manufacturer defects. Please refer to the DeckShield™ sample warranty for more details.
