IB Roof Systems Now Sells TPO Roofing Material in Texas, Manufactured Right Here in Grapevine (Copy)
For 40 years, IB Roof Systems sold one thing: PVC roofing membrane. They built their reputation on it, trained contractors on it, and backed it with one of the strongest warranty programs in the industry.
In March 2026, that changed. IB launched a full TPO roofing product line, manufactured at their headquarters in Grapevine, Texas.
For contractors and building owners who work with CK Materials and our IB territory rep Chris Headley, that means access to both PVC and TPO from one manufacturer, through one relationship, sourced from a facility right here in the DFW market.
What IB TPO Includes
The TPO product line meets ASTM D6878 standards and ships in configurations built for Texas commercial projects:
Smooth-back membranes in 60-mil and 80-mil for mechanically fastened and fully adhered applications. Fleece-back membranes in 115-mil and 135-mil for projects requiring very severe hail classifications or enhanced puncture resistance. White, tan, and gray color options with CRRC-rated reflective surfaces for energy code compliance.
Every roll is manufactured at IB's Grapevine facility. That means Texas contractors are getting material produced in their own market, not shipped from the Midwest or East Coast. Shorter lead times, lower freight costs, and a manufacturer you can visit in person.
Why IB Entered TPO
IB's acquisition by Kingspan Group in 2024 brought the manufacturing scale to make this possible. TPO is three times the PVC market by volume. IB's own authorized contractors were asking for a broader product line so they could stay within the IB system on projects that called for TPO instead of sourcing from a different manufacturer.
CEO Jason Stanley has been direct about the decision. IB isn't walking away from PVC. They're expanding so contractors don't have to choose between the manufacturer they trust and the membrane the project requires.
